One location for all of your Immunization “shots”, prescriptions, and Travel Health Needs

This is a fully licensed international travel clinic located in central Halifax and have been in the travel immunization business since the early 1980’s. Offering the service initially to commercial seamen and travelers, we expanded to include the general public in the early 1990’s. A complete line of immunizations for travel to most global destinations is kept in stock.

The clinic is operated by Dr. Frank Doane who, in addition to consulting with you, will give you your immunizations or “travel shots” and can write prescriptions for malaria prophylaxis, altitude sickness and other medications pertinent to your travels. This is one of the few licensed yellow fever centres in Nova Scotia.

Travel consultations are not an insured benefit under MSI, although some private plans may cover this charge. Rates are competitive and unnecessary immunizations that are of little value (and expensive), or rarely required by the typical tourist/business traveler are not encouraged.

To gain the most benefit from your visit, and minimize costs, it is very helpful to have:Travel Doctor Services
